Carmel Art Festival 2008

Saturday & Sunday May 17 - 18

Located in Devendorf Park at Mission Street and Ocean Ave

This year I will be competing in the 15th annual Carmel Art Festival Plein Air Painting Competition.

Thursday and Friday, May 15 - 16 sixty artists will fan out around the Monterey Peninsula to paint.

Saturday, May 17 our freshly painted works will be judged and on display for the silent auction from 10 am – 6 pm. The awards ceremony is at 5 pm and the live auction follows at 6:30 pm.

Sunday, May 18 is the Quick Draw painting competition from 9 am – 11 am with silent auction to follow. Paintings will be on display from 10 am – 3 pm.

I plan to be at the festival Saturday from 4 pm – 8 pm and Sunday morning until noon.
